Needham, MA, April 4, 2005 – Scenic Technology Corporation today announces the sce-Star™ Suite of Supply Chain Execution software components.  These products form a collection of key functional components that are required by its customers to run a competitive operation in today’s integrated supply chain.  The sce-Star™ Suite is comprised of business applications and connectivity tools.  Over time, Scenic plans to add products by internal development, partnerships and additional acquisitions.

Technology.  The sce-Star™ Suite is based entirely on the Microsoft .NET platform using Visual Studio.  The system makes extensive use of real-time data access using wireless, portable computers and automatic identification technologies such as bar-coding and radio-frequency identification (RFID).  The system is designed to be extremely easy-to-install and use.

On-Demand Licensing.  The sce-Star™ Suite is only available under a unique-to-the industry On-Demand/Use Licensing arrangement where customers pay an incremental charge for each line-item shipped.  Details of this licensing program are made available at www.scenictechnology.com/on-demand.  This allows customers to pay for the actual use of the system and thus avoid the high upfront costs (as well as the associated risk) of implementing these systems.  Plus this aligns the goals of the customer with the goals of Scenic.

sce-Mobile™         - RF Session Management Software

sce-Cast™             - AutoID Technology for RFID implementations

sce-Bridge™          - Data Ex/Im Management software
