Needham, MA, May 25, 2006 – Scenic Technology will sponsor a free educational seminar on June 20, 2006 on real-time warehouse management systems (WMS). This program has been developed especially for small to mid-sized wholesalers, manufacturers and distributors who are concerned about improving the efficiencies of their purchasing, sales, operations and customer service departments and, in turn, electronically linking them to their real-time warehouse inventory workflow.

Some of the issues that will be addressed during the seminar include:

• Cost efficiencies of a real-time warehouse management system (WMS)

• Electronic receiving of products and the efficiencies of bar coding labeling

• Electronic assignment of storage locations

• Real-time picking, staging, kitting, sequence loading, shipping

• Email notification to customers of the status of their order and shipment
