Needham, MA, July 25, 2005 – Scenic Technology Corporation (“Scenic”), a global provider of supply chain execution systems in an On-demand service model, today announced that Distribution by Air of Somerset, NJ, a domestic and international air freight forwarder, has implemented the Scenic sce-Dx™ warehouse management product to automate their value-added distribution center in Somerset.  In this facility, DBA designs and assembles store-ready shippers for retailers of consumer products.

The system is necessary to support DBA”s continued sales growth and increasing demands by its customers for fast and reliable service.  Since much of DBA”s work is performed under a value-added services contract, Scenic is providing a third-party data capture and billing module to support capture of revenue events at the source.  The system in written in Microsoft’s dotNet platform using the MS-Sequel database, web services and XML.
