Scenic offers a collection of key functional solutions required by customers to run a competitive operation in today's integrated supply chain.

The sce-Star™ Suite is comprised of business applications and connectivity tools and based on the Microsoft .NET platform.  The system makes extensive use of real-time data access using wireless, portable computers and automatic identification technologies such as bar-coding and radio-frequency identification (RFID).  The system is designed to be extremely easy-to-install and use.

Applications. The following supply chain applications are included in the sce-Star Suite™ are:

sce-Cast™             - AutoID Technology for RFID implementations

sce-Bridge™          - Data Ex/Im Management software

On-Demand Licensing.  The sce-Star™ Suite is only available under an On-Demand/Use Licensing arrangement where customers pay an incremental charge for each line-item shipped.  Details of this licensing program are made available at www.scenictechnology.com/on-demand.  This allows customers to pay for the actual use of the system and thus avoid the high upfront costs (as well as the associated risk) of implementing these systems.  Plus this aligns the goals of the customer with the goals of Scenic.

Markets.  The products are geared to mid-market companies that have substantial distribution requirements.  Markets serviced include:  Distribution, Etail, Industrial and Consumer Packaged Goods Manufacturers, Mail Order/Internet, Retail, and 3^rd Party Logistics service providers.  Customers that will benefit from the use of these products are companies that view distribution as a key competitive advantage and need to be able to expand their competitive advantage by improved access to information, accuracy in inventory, visibility to order lifecycle, supply chain integrity, track and trace, recalls, reverse logistics, and a centralized dashboard view of the key performance metrics that drive their business.
